Registration

A non-refundable and non-transferable registration fee of $100.00 for the school year must be paid annually. A school year is from mid August to mid June of the following year. Registration of the Summer Program is based on events and field trips.

Tuition Payment

Tuition payments are accepted weekly, bi-weekly or on a monthly basis as long as is paid in advance on Monday’s regardless of attendance.
Once your child is registered tuition payment is to hold the space of your child regardless of attendance. Tuition will not be pro-rated. A late charge of $10.00 will be imposed for payment made after Monday.
Families with subsidized care are responsible to renew in a timely manner with their corresponding agency, in order to avoid a lapse in service.

Requirements

Immunization records, physical exam, a copy of the child’s birth certificate and a copy of the parent(s) picture identification is required.
The curriculum is closely supervised by the curriculum coordinator and director of  Little Village Child Care Learning Center.

Clothing / Uniform

School uniform must be worn daily. Our school uniform must be purchased only at our office. All students are required to wear closed footwear for school (No open toed sandals / No CROCS). Little Village reserved the right to make changes to the uniform and prices. Jewelry should not be worn to school as it may be damaged or lost while the child is engaged in school activities. Please label all your child’s belongings.

This is very important for the teachers in determining ownership of these items. It is also important in helping a child learn to take care of his/her belongings.
We ask parents to send an extra change of clothing inside a Ziploc label with the child’s name, which will be kept in your child’s cubby in case of an accident. If your child is being potty trained or is in diapers, please send a minimum of six training pants or diapers, a box of wipes, and diaper rash cream.

Drop Off/ Pick Up

It is the parent’s responsibility to daily document the time when their child (ren) enters and departs the childcare facility. The Florida Department of Children and Families and the Early Learning Coalition mandate this procedure.

After school children who come to the program walking or in the bus must be signed in when arrive at the center at the exact time. A parent’s authorization form must be filled out giving permission to the administration staff to sign up for the child when enrollment is done.

Parent Involvement

Parent will have many opportunities throughout the school year to participate in your child classroom joining different activities and events. The role of families and communities in supporting learning through play also extends to the primary years to ensure continuity and connectivity of learning across the ages.
